That’s why our vision is to support loss control professionals and those interested in the discipline of loss control within the business community and the insurance industry through education and collaboration.
We are a resource for best practices, which are provided via social media; in Insights, a professional journal by the CPCU Society; and on the Society’s website. We offer forums for information sharing and discussion, and we support educational and mentoring opportunities for those interested in the prevention and mitigation of losses.
A Message From the Chair
I have had the fortune of seeing the benefits the insurance industry offers people in their times of need. We are in a position to help people recover from tragedies ranging from personal issues to large catastrophes. I’m proud of this industry and what it offers during those difficult times.
As a member of the loss control community, I recognize we have a great responsibility to prepare people for these events. In the Loss Control Interest Group, we believe it is our duty to educate members of the insurance industry on loss control and loss mitigation topics.
